SAN News: Future of Events

The Future of Events..

The game is so addictive- players have spent countless hours flying around the skies of San Andreas and per suing their dream Pilot careers; we?re all secretly looking to rank up whether it?s in an airline or our pilot ranks. Be it by ferrying passengers, delivering goods, chauffeuring civilians we?re always working.  It?s no wonder why love our events here in Pilots' Life?

But do all events end in disaster? This seems to be the case in PL as there is an increasing trend in disrupted events and a growing number of newbies (who never seem to follow the rules)
Players have stated the influx of newbies began when the server went back on the hosted list.

SAN News took to the streets of Pilots Life to ask the players how they felt this affected the server. ?Sometimes, it can bring good people, nubs and hackers. Its PL's only option to get players though? ?Yes, as it gets more members but half of them members could be hackers.. So i am 50/50?

**EVENT REVIEW**

Today the CEO of SAN News: Vendetta, hosted an Off-Road vehicle Rally at Hunters Quarry, Las Venturas. For what started out as a quiet, peaceful event it was difficult to predict the chaos to come. The event was a travesty. Several players including the infamous ?Hellow123?, and ?Julleman?, ?L.Diabldo? decided to gate crash the event and cause havoc. Their behaviour which included carjacking, Missile firing, ramming and death matching caused the suspension of the event.

It is still unknown who is winner of the $2mil cash prize.

SAN News? CEO described the event as ?an epic fail.. There were lots of dmers and rammers?
Eventually the Rally was abandoned, within minutes the atmosphere at Hunters? Quarry had changed into one of peril. In a free-for-all the event had transformed into a derby.

All suggestions seen to point to one thing- a new sandbox mode; much like the dogfight. That would incorporate the group system. The group leader (the events creator) could use a command to kick un co-operative players out. Although this has not yet been suggested, we?re hoping for a new system like this to make our downtime on the server a lot more stress free.

Images were edited before posting. No screen prints or evidence could be found linking the offenders to the stated crimes ?as the SAN Chopper crashed due to the incompetent SAN News reporter ?Obdreno? This article was written from eye witness reports. Many thanks to LWM97 and 7Zip for sharing their opinions- and to estxcrew for the idea of a new ?world? group.

EDIT: Event System Vote today!
