im surprised to not find one question on why it's called "Star Alliance" since Star Alliance IS NOT an airline in real life, instead its basically these airlines in a group just like how there's the g20 and UN for countries. What it does is they get better everything then a normal airline (stuff for plane, codeshare agreements, Star Alliance takes care of the airport shit) so umm does this mean im gonna see LOT, Austrain, Air Canada etc etc now?
