Hello All,
Not many of you have noticed, (I dont think any of you have, infact) at the wonderful new update which has been added to our fantastic server!
The newest addition to pilots life, is infact the ability to purchase gates.
yes, thats right, Pilots Life owner Haydz, has budged, after some long talks about allowing players to buy gates.
This is what Haydz has to say about the matter, until a player proposed a plan, with regards to purchasing a gate for your home.
i believe that owning a house on our server, with a gate should be a rarity, and chosen by our head mapper, Sursai_Kosecksi or myself
Now, haydz has come out and un-officially announced that gates will be in fact available for purchase on Pilots Life.
Gates will be available for purchase for $3, the gate must be approved by you before its added to the server.
if you cant just have a gate, you need a fence surrounding it, the fee is $7 for me to map it, which again will still need to be approved by you, before its added to the server. and, lastly, $5 if you map the gate and supporting objects. (This one needs to be approved by myself.)

Well I know I've been high on drink the last day but I'm not that drunk I guess :o
Adding gates and then selling the house for millions for then expected, I guess economy will be ruined again :-\
I guess Haydz had something in mind before adding this, would be good if he discloses that fact.

So. If you have house with private runway, 5 slot and gate = 20M. Awesome! :o

Nope. Gates are small map + moveobject script. They will be removed when Haydz will update the server.

Is this gonna be added to ALL the houses?? If so when? I gotta hurry to buy the jumping estate!
its probably going to be added to expensive houses with runways that are in the middle of knowhere. Why would a trailer get a gate?

Here you go guys. I got nothing against this, i suggest we should not be able to add gates too sluts under 10.

I also suggest that a player can only buy 1 gate... this way they can't add gates to all their houses, then sell them all for a shitload of money.

i know you guys are doubting what i say, but i had a lengthy discussion with him.
Head over to the donations page, anybody can get a gate, they arent exclusive anymore.

The main thing is, when Haydz will add another payment method? Some of us whose really want to add a gate maybe need another payment method like mobile payment. There are two known mobile payment services and I hope Haydz will add one of them.

If I am right, we had OneBip for awhile in the past.

We had, so we used to use that method. PayPal is useless in my country since I need approval from each ATM provider. Paying $5 to Haydz via mobile is much easier than via PayPal.

paying $5USD with OneBip, means haydz gets about $2 out of it, so buying VIP From a mobile was disabled, due to players having to pay $10 with onebip, for haydz to get about $4.50.

Sorry for the double post, but ill have a chat with haydz about using Paygol, which is like OneBip but doesnt take any of the money from the donation. of course, he will need to approve of it, its just a suggestion.

This seems to me a nice adition. But i think it should e better if it cost more, so that way will be harder to have them, but also there should be created a system that when a player sell his/her house, the fence and gate hould be removed. It i posible to be scripted

I know it is not a suggestion thread, it was an idea... so it can help a bit and houses that cost 5m dont be sold later to 20m :P
